All Dressed
From this project, I learned just how difficult it is to try and screenprint onto a live human being, with the usual assortment of curves that nice flat screens generally don’t like. Not that I have anything against Photoshop, but I really enjoy getting my hands dirty and bringing concepts out into the world of the real. So, with the theme All Dressed to mull upon, I did a little danger screening, and finally managed to get the chest of my very gracious model more or less legible with minimal touching up. I don’t think the model much minded though, as the graduating class, for which this catalogue was designed, consisted almost entirely of creative, single women, all of whom most enthusiastically extended to him their invitations for the opening of the exhibit. I think he had a good time; I was busy cleaning the screens of failed attempts for the evening.
