Culina Family

It’s a very satisfying feeling when the people you already work for discover within you a talent hidden from the ways in which you usually move about the place. I was waiting tables, happily minding my own business, when the owners discovered my designer spark. From there, I went from an overhaul of the menus to rebranding all of the many fine establishments under the Culina umbrella. The owners wanted to maintain the funky New York bistro aesthetic while shining up their existing image with a little more class, being that the restaurants were recently voted the second and third best restaurants in Canada. I created a system where each unique brand related to the other, but communicated the character of each individual endeavour. I was happy to oblige, had a lot of fun, and still managed to get the dinner out on time.
