A Formation of Interstices
A series of prints built up using photo-etching, lithography, screenprinting and chine collé. The photo plates use drawings from the Arrival Everlasting series at various points in their existence (see the drawing section) as the basis for their matrices. The suite represents my first foray into the exploration of colour using traditional printing techniques; I found the colour revealed a different sort of energy within the drawings, like switching the filter on a microscope. Each image measures 36” by 24”.
